Free Stock Tisp News Nifty was at 8519 down 5 points or
0.06 per cent. It touched a high of 8540.60 and a low of 8518.71 in
trade today.
The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.65 per cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index edged higher by 0.61 per cent.

Indian markets ended red amid RBI kept policy rates unchanged and the government increased excise duty on petrol & diesel. Oil, capital goods stocks lost ground whereasmetals, banking stocks supported the market. Sensex was down by 115 points at 28444& Nifty down 31 points 8524 level.
Indian markets ended red.
Nifty and Sensex went down by 0.36% and 0.40%
Asia-Pacific markets ended up.
Nikkei up by 0.41% and Hangseng up by 1.21%.
Wall Street up. Euro retail sales m/m stood at 0.6%.
Dow futures up 72 pts.
