Trade On Monday The S&P BSE Sensex slipped in red after hitting a record high of 28027.96 , led by losses in L&T, ONGC, Tata Motors and ICICI BankBSE -0.56 %.
Tracking the momentum, the 50-share Nifty index also slipped from its lifetime high of 8383.05 hit earlier in the day, weighed down by losses in capital goods, IT metal, realty and banking stocks.
the 50-share index was at 8,322.21, down 14 points or 0.16 per cent. It touched a high of 8,382.05 and a low of 8,320.75 in trade today.
